Special Announcement to readers of the Mormon Sites website, and subscribers to the Mormon Sites newsletter "Nephite Evidences":
This morning I received an exciting message from Kieth Merrill, famed academy award winning LDS filmmaker, the man who created Legacy, Testaments, Mr. Krueger's Christmas, The Twelve Dogs of Christmas, Christmas Jars, and much more.
Kieth recently launched a bold new venture, a motion picture studio that may one day rival MGM, Fox, and others. Kieth's studio is designed to bring back feel-good family rated movies and family values to Hollywood. It holds magnificent promise, I immediately signed on as a FOUNDER'S CIRCLE member.
You too can help make history by signing on right at the founding of a great motion picture studio that mirrors the values you hold dear.
But you'll need to act quickly to make the Founder's Circle.
As a member of the Founder's Circle you may even be able to participate in the creation of great movies. Any actors and actresses with us? Casting? Writers? Extras? Crowd Control? Grips? (whatever that is), Gophers?
Kieth Merrill's new studio is called Audience Alliance Motion Picture Studios.
Even Deseret Book broke tradition and C.E.O. Sherry Dew emailed an announcement to DB's huge list of people about Kieth's exciting new venture to challenge Hollywood values. Kieth is looking for a million members to help persuade Hollywood, and bring back to the world great family movies.
Be among the first to get the good news out that something good is coming to Hollywood.
The PEOPLE are taking over, and they're making their own kind of movies now!
Kieth Merrill, the man who brought us Legacy and Testaments, and a large number of non-LDS themed movies, is asking for our help. I invite you to show him what we can do to get his message out as widely and as quickly as possible. If you are comfortable working online, I ask you to take the initiative and volunteer some time getting the news about this new motion picture studio out as widely as possible. If you're a Rotarian or a member of a group of good people, talk about it. It's a wonderful cause that could have a major impact on the making and screening of movies worldwide. You can help make history if you become anxiously engaged in this good cause in your own unique way.
Shall we do this magnificent thing then?
Below is Kieth Merrill's personal message to members and supporters of Mormon Sites. I invite you to help Kieth reach his goal by posting the message below in pertinent online forums, newsgroups, lists, discussion groups, bulletin boards, etc.

Marcel,
I've been immersed in a major way with the launch of our new company AUDIENCE ALLIANCE MOTION PICTURE STUDIOS. I hope you and your extended team all sign up and get in the queue for Founder's Circle membership.
I have let EVERYTHING go but Audience Alliance because it is so huge and so important and can have such an enormous impact on the world of movies.
Upward and onward,
Get your entire gang to support Audience Alliance.
Thanks for your understanding heart and mind.
Kieth Merrill, Filmmaker
Enjoy the day, and please do what you can to help get more great Kieth Merrill films into the theaters, thank-you.
You have permission to copy and distribute the message between the dotted lines above, but please don't spam, thanks.

Here is the official position of AAMPS:
Audience Alliance Motion Picture Studio [AAMPS] is not affiliated with the LDS church, "Mormon" filmmakers in Utah or the so-called "Mormon Cinema" movement. AAMPS is not Utah based and while some of the movies may be made in the State of Utah using local crews the films will not involve LDS or “Utah-centric themes".
The virtues and values matrix of AMPS transcend religious dogma and political platforms. They are the fundamental values of the human family. Movies from AAMPS are about entertainment not niche' messages.
The motion pictures developed and created by AAMPS will be produce by a diverse corps of talented writers, producers, directors, actors and filmmakers ranging from “the good guys” in the mainstream heart of Hollywood to the best and the brightest of the rising young generation of talented filmmakers and performers. None of the people who work on AAMPS films will be selected on the basis of their religious affiliation or beliefs. We will expect them to be in tune with the fundamental values of the films we make.
Movies produced by AMPS will transcend religious dogma and political platforms. They will embrace the fundamental values of the human family and be about entertainment not niche' messages. We will be true to this mission statement. AAMPS will enable a wide variety of excellent movie projects and as a consequence may INDIRECTLY enable us to pursue some special projects and documentaries of global importance and personal interest.
